Welcome,
In this exciting day is the opening of my first sculpture exhibition which is titled “reflections on Love, life and death“
Three very basic yet essential themes that bring together the body of works that I am today presenting to you.
Together, they bring forth questions that lie at their intersections.
What does it mean to live with love, to die with love, to love life, to love death? What’s in between life and death, in between death and life?
Very philosophical indeed but also spiritual, these questions are universal and can be applied across cultures and scales.
It might also make sense to put them in parallel with our context, an in-between era where we are both presented with the death and birth of very foundational elements within individuals, societies and in a planetary perspective.
What do we chose to let die and what do we give birth to? What is the role of love in the decisions we take?
These last questions will be explored further in the next works and exhibition as I intend to move from reflection to action and to put creation at the service of an ideal future.
All the sculptures were created in the last four years and it’s certainly easy to see the progression in craftsmanship but also in the ability to convey both emotions and informations. Thank you very much for coming and experiencing the art.
LOVE
2023
Wood, copper and cotton rope.
A symbolic representation of the purest form of infinite, unconditional love which immediately raises the question of it’s possibility. A perfect entanglement of souls, rotating around each other, following their cores yet remaining in constant harmonious contact.
The last circle
2021
Diabase, bronze
Before friend and former teacher Pete Sims passed away, a forrest was crowdfunded and planted in his honor on the danish island of Samsø. An fabulous exemple of a death leading up to many lives. The stone circle was raised to commemorate the initiative. A group of individuals taking action and giving energy to contribute to someone’s afterlife.
At the kaospilot school, students usually stand together in a circle. Pete being team leader, a lot of his time was spent in the center of that circle. Here, the pine tree that he planted is in his place and around, the stones are facing outwards, protecting the tree and witnessing the growth of the forrest.
Thank you to Jesper Kjeldsen and Sasja Tjerrild Larsen for leading the forrest project, to Soroosh Moghadam for helping with the stonework, Haraldur Forsberg with installation and Jesper Vejby for the documenting.
MOTHER

The starting point of life in the utter expression of the creative power of love.
Sun

Slate and bronze.
A prophetic tablet created after a long danish winter. The rebirth of the life giving star is predicted in this archeological piece. The earliest form of alphabet (around 1500 BCE) was chosen for the poem for its universal reach as well as for it’s symbolic significance.

Beechwood, white marble and acrylic.
A symbol of Unity.
TOTEM
2021
42 steel cylinders from a petrol platform.
The tree of sefiroth is an ancient sacred geometry symbol representing the human being as a link between heaven and earth, it contains wisdom that links and transcends our concepts of life and death. The tubes in this assembly are shaped following these symbolic proportions and linked to create a 3-dimensional pattern. The material chosen has it's significance as it refers to a shift of believe from industrial materialism to spiritual symbolism.
